On Wednesday 23rd May 2018, Templars in collaboration with MyDrim Gallery hosted an Exclusive Art Exhibition at the firm’s Lagos office in Victoria Island. The event, themed “THE MASTERS” was a private preview of the work of twelve renowned artists who contributed immensely to the development of Visual Arts in Nigeria. These “MASTERS” include; JIMOH AKOLO, EL-ANATSUI, ABAYOMI BARBER, JIMOH BURAIMOH, DAVID DALE, BISI FAKEYE, YUSUF GRILLO, GANI ODUTOKUN, NIKE DAVIES OKUNDAYE, BRUCE ONOBRAKPEYA, KOLADE OSHINOWO and MURAINA OYELAMI.
In a harmonic evening of art and wine, the event saw esteemed clients of the firm, industry stakeholders and some of the “MASTERS” who had their works on display, interact and discuss about their love for Art.
This particular initiative is aimed at celebrating Nigerian Art which is now sought after globally and most importantly, the pioneering spirit of the ‘MASTERS’ who contributed to the development of Art in Nigeria despite numerous challenges.”

Templars has over time expressed its personality through a diversified and robust corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy which has seen it sponsor the Edo State Secondary School Cricket Competition (2nd year in a row) and the 2018 Junior/Cadet African Fencing Championships as a way of supporting the growth of young talent in Nigerian Sports category.
