Inam Wilson, SAN Conferment

The status of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), equivalent to King’s Counsel in the United Kingdom, is conferred on outstanding members of the legal profession who have distinguished themselves as notable advocates and academias.

Inam Wilson is the 3rd Partner at TEMPLARS to be elevated to the rank of SAN within the last 5 years. Adewale Atake, SAN, was elevated to the rank in 2018, after which Godwin Omoaka, SAN, FCIArb was elevated to the rank in 2019.

Inam is recognized as one of the few leading Labour and Employment Law connoisseurs in Nigeria, and the conferment of this rare honour is a boost to the clamour for specialization within the litigation space in Nigeria. The bestowment also stands as a testament to the hard work and dedicated client-oriented service that TEMPLARS has offered over the years as a market leader in the Disputes Resolution Practice – having represented and advised on some of the largest and most complex commercial disputes in the Nigerian legal market.

As Head of the Labour & Employment and Transportation Practice at TEMPLARS, Inam has distinguished himself as a dynamic negotiator and advisor in the fields of dispute management and resolution. He is also a member of the TEMPLARS Investigation, White collar, and Compliance Group, which advises multi-sectoral clients and global corporations on risk assessments, intricate investigations, compliance programs and regulatory enforcement actions.

The inauguration of newly conferred SANs took place on 28th November 2022 at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja (FCT).
