The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) today selected Templars’ disputes partner, Adewale Atake and 30 other leading lawyers for appointment as Senior Advocates of Nigeria (the Nigerian equivalent of Queen’s Counsel).
In a press release dated today, the LPPC stated that the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria is “awarded as a mark of excellence to members of the legal profession who have distinguished themselves as advocates and academics.”
The new appointees will be officially sworn in at the Supreme Court of Nigeria on Monday, 24 September, 2018.
