Debisi Omole is the Chief Operating Officer at TEMPLARS, a leading Pan-African law firm with offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, and Accra. TEMPLARS advises clients across sectors and geographies, providing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
As a member of the management team, Debisi oversees the firm’s operations, with direct responsibility for the Administrative, Finance, and IT departments, while also supervising the Human Resources department. She has been instrumental in managing the business aspects of the firm, ensuring smooth operational efficiency across all levels.
Before transitioning to her current role as Chief Operating Officer in 2023, Debisi was a Senior Associate in the Finance practice group, followed by her appointment as Practice Administrator. With over 20 years of experience, she has advised multinationals and local clients on complex commercial and finance transactions, showcasing her extensive expertise in the legal field.
Debisi is known for her strong personality, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and she plays a vital role in driving strategic initiatives within the firm. Her efforts focus on enhancing service delivery, improving performance, and developing process improvement initiatives. Additionally, she actively contributes to talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies that align with the firm’s growth and business objectives.
As chairperson of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) committee, Debisi leads impactful programs such as Experience Templars and Adopt-a-Prisoner, Templars Pages of Possibilities (TPoP), furthering the firm’s commitment to responsible business practices. A strong advocate for gender diversity, equity, and inclusion, she actively supports NGOs that empower women and promote leadership initiatives. In 2024, Debisi Omole was Awarded Peak Performing Woman in Leadership at the 2024 TPP Fest.
Debisi holds a B.A. (Hons) in English, an LLB from the University of Wolverhampton, UK, and a BL from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos.
