Ifureuwem Udofa is a Key Senior Associate in the Firm’s Energy & Natural Resources Practice.
He is a commercial lawyer with significant practical experience providing legal advisory support to diverse clients across the power; oil and gas; tax; shipping; and aviation sectors. He holds Bachelor of Laws from the University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom and has been called to the Nigerian Bar.
In recent times, he has been part of a team which has provided legal advisory services to a diverse range of clients including several oil & gas exploration and production companies in connection with their proposed acquisition and divestment of interests in acreages; commercial issues arising during production and development operations; and crude sale and purchase transactions.
Furthermore, he has provided support on several power transactions including involving the use of blockchain, interconnected mini-grid development and captive power generation for an industrial cluster; and, to a number of multinationals on the tax elements of their business in Nigeria.
He is a member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (formerly, Association of International Petroleum Negotiators); and a volunteer with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative.
