Sarpong is a Partner and widely regarded lawyer with a wealth of knowledge in corporate transactions and strategic advisory. He has extensive experience working on cross-border transactions and in advising on complex corporate, project and structured finance projects.
Sarpong previously worked in a leading Accra-based law firm, where he headed the firm’s Transactions and Strategic advisory department and advised multinational corporations like Halliburton, Maersk, Bumi Armada, Eni, and Tullow.
Sarpong holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a QCL from the Ghana School of Law.

- The Ghana Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) on its acquisition of a stake in Atlantic Lithium which is building the Ewoyaa lithium project, Ghana’s first battery metal mine.
- A leading international mining company on the sale of its interests in iron ore deposits in Liberia.
- First Atlantic Bank Limited and GCB Bank (as joint arrangers) on their US$ 66 million syndicated guarantee facility to Biwater International Limited for the completion of the Tamale Water Project for the Government of Ghana.
- Sarpong Capital on its GHS 70 million secured hybrid note programme to finance its trading books.
- First Atlantic Bank Limited in connection with its merger with Energy Commercial Bank.
